Our Tuition Fees

Janus Academy was created with the belief that every child deserves an education appropriate to his or her learning needs.  The costs of providing individualized and small group education with appropriate behavioural support for children with autism is understandably very high.

Student tuition costs for the 2025-2026 school year will be $16,640.00. These costs cover all school fees and school supplies.

Janus Academy receives funding from Alberta Education.  This funding combined with tuition fees must still be off-set with fundraising activities to cover the full costs of this intense form of education.  Along with foundation, corporate and private donations, Janus coordinates a number of fundraising activities throughout the year including our Annual Spring Gala and Sports Day Pledge-a-thon. Parents who have children attending Janus Academy must make the commitment to help fundraise through a variety of events.

Payment schedule:

A deposit of $2,000.00 is payable upon acceptance into the program and the completion of registration. A  payment of $10,000.00 is due by mid-June and the final payment of $4,640.00 is due before the start of school in September.

Bursary Information

Families of accepted students may apply for bursaries from the following organization. Bursaries may pay a portion of the tuition fees depending on the organization, number of applicants, and qualifications. If you require further information on these bursaries, please contact the school at 403.262.3333.

The Prosser Charitable Foundation

The Prosser Charitable Foundation administers funding on behalf of The Prosser Charitable Foundation Parent’s Choice Fund to support the Parent’s Choice Bursary. The bursary covers 50% of the total annual tuition (after any discounts are applied) to a maximum of $5,000.00 per student awardee, to a new student entering an independent school at any level. It is the intention of The Foundation to maintain the bursary award throughout the student’s school career (to grade 12), and as such, the Bursary follows the student (should they continue to meet the criteria and if the student transfers to another qualified private/independent school).
