Are you considering Janus Academy for your child?  Our committed and compassionate team will answer all your questions and help you through the process of finding the best placement for your child. Are You Ready to Apply?

Application Deadlines:

Applications open on October 1 for consideration for the 2025-2026 school year. Our formal student enrolment process will begin in January 2025.

Age Requirements

Elementary School: we serve students aged 6-12

Jr./Sr. High School: we serve students aged 12-18

Application Fee: $200.00 non-refundable

Please email a copy of the following documents to karli.martin@janusacademy.org as required to complete your application.

1. Documentation giving a diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)

2. Psychoeducational assessment for students aged 6+ (completed within the last 2 years) OR

Psychological assessment for students aged 5 (completed within the last 2 years)

3. SLP Assessment (completed within the last 2 years)

4. OT Assessment (completed within the last 2 years)

5. Most recent IPP or Report Card

6. Copy of the student’s Birth Certificate

7. Proof of Citizenship or Permanent Residency if the student was born outside of Canada

8. A recent photo of the student

Submit Your Payment

A non-refundable fee of $200.00 is required to complete your application.  Pay by:

Let us Review and We’ll be in Touch

Our Admissions Team will review your child’s educational history and other relevant documents to determine whether we have the appropriate classroom for the applicant. If a possible match is indicated, Janus Academy will schedule an in-person observation, on-campus visit, or request admissions videos for students who may be appropriate.

Observations, Visits & Videos

In-person observation: 45 minute observation with a Program Coordinator at the student’s current PUF program or independent/private school

On-campus visit: 45 minute informal assessment with a Program Coordinator at Janus Academy for students currently attending a public school

Admissions Videos: specific videos will be requested for students currently living out of area or province

Communication of final decisions and resulting offers will follow accordingly.
