Janus Academy has been offering Summer Camp programs for children and youth with ASD since 2006. This camp grew out of a need for our school students to attend a summer program in a safe and supportive environment while learning and having fun. This summer program blends education, community outings and structured group activities.
There are three, two week sessions during the months of July and August. Campers are in a 2:1 ratio with our trained staff. Activities for this program include swimming, hiking, community outings, cooking classes, arts and crafts and so much more.
Our belief is that every child should be given the opportunity to participate and experience summer camp within a safe and challenging environment. We believe that when you create positive interactions and stimulating environments, you can produce many opportunities to motivate children to communicate, take notice of and interact with their peers and build upon skills that will enhance their quality of life.
Registration for our 2019 Summer Camp has now closed. All participant spaces have been filled for this program.
Please check our website in February 2020 for next year’s camp information.
